It is especially noteworthy that ICEVI-Europe was invited to partake in the first meeting of the European Blind Union Commission on Access to Culture and Education, with the aim of exploring possible joint projects, strengthening the cooperation between the two organizations.

“We are looking forward to what we strongly believe will be a fruitful collaboration and cooperation between ICEVI-Europe and EBU, with the common aim of promoting equal opportunity to quality education and rehabilitation for all the visually impaired people, enabling them to lead full and independent lives,” said Betty Leotsakou, President of ICEVI-Europe. ICEVI-Europe will announce more information regarding this partnership via its website, as soon as it receives the minutes from the EBU meeting.
