1. Legislation

In all states of Germany there are laws stating the right of disabled children to go to a regular school. The individual needs of the child are the base of kind of support.

2. Provisions

Staff: special trained teachers, psychologists and other specialists

Equipment: conforming individual needs, paid by health insurance of social affairs.

Books: provided by the Association of the Blind

3. Relation with Special School for the V.I.

The special schools are also resource centres for itinerant teachers

4. Training of itinerant teachers

A training programme for these teachers is delivered by the organization of teachers of the V.I.: VBS
