Vocational training centre for blind and visually impaired people provide training in different professions in the dual educational system.
They offer courses in technology for blind and visually impaired such as courses in mobility, orientation, Braille. The vocational training centre support the integration of blind and visually impaired into the first labour market and the society.
Vocational Rehabilitation
These rehabilitation centres offer vocational rehabilitation and education for adult blind and visually impaired. Vocational rehabilitation courses cover training and retraining. Thereby blind and visually impaired are prepared for professional reintegration and an active participation in social life.

The members of the German Federation of Blind and Visually Impaired People are 20 regional organisations which subdivide into 300 district and local organisations.
The purpose of the German Federation of Blind and Visually Impaired People is to maintain the social position of blind and visually impaired people and to promote their social and vocational integration.
