Educational institutions

In Norway, all learners who are visually impaired are educated in mainstream schools (in their local community) with support provided by The National Service for Special Needs Education. People who have lost their vision later in life attend rehabilitation courses offered by The National Service for Special Needs Education (if they are under retirement age) and The Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted (all ages). Accessible learning materials are available from The National Service for Special Needs Education, The Norwegian Library of Talking Books and Braille, and the KABB Library. NAV provides everyone with assistive technology (both advice and training in using them).
